Handmade Hardcover Books
Lord Corgidor Esquire
Hello book connoisseurs,
Have you ever dreamt of a library full of customized books? The kind where the books were all uniform on the shelf? Me too. I don’t read them, of course. I have no thumbs. But I like how they smell when I nap beside them.
Because of my exemplary time in service, I was moved to a farm Upstate – every dog’s dream. Within the century old house, rooms were re-done by my live-in help to accommodate my fondness of these beautiful tomes.
As a community service, I make my humans look for discarded books at these book pounds called “yard sales”, and “second hand stores”. We give them new life, a new jacket, and find their forever home.
If they’re lucky, they’ll find themselves a little Lord Furrington like myself, that can sniff out the unique aroma that can only come from the unique combination of leather, cloth, paper and glue – the magic of a good book.
Yours, etc.
